What are the 3 Types of Buyers?

Thanks for joining me today. Sellers often ask me: what types of buyers should I expect to see pursuing my home? Here's a quick list I give to sellers:

1. The move up - a buyer who is looking for a larger home.
2. The move down - a buyer who is looking to downsize.
3. The investor - someone who wants to invest in a real estate property.

Because of the recent increase in home prices, we have seen less investors in the market. So if you are thinking about selling, give me a call so we can find the right buyer for your home.

Should you sell during the holiday season?

Welcome back! Now that fall is in full swing and the holidays are quickly approaching, a lot of people ask me whether now is a good time to put their home on the market.

Much to your surprise now is a great time to sell. While there may be fewer showings, the buyers in the market are much more motivated.

Often when someone relocates they look for a home during the holiday season so they can start with their new company for the new year.

Most people also have more time off during the holidays and it’s the perfect time for them to look for a new home. Sellers also have found success by marvelously decorating their home.

There are some inconveniences to selling during the holiday season, but we can work with you on that. If you plan on having company, we can limit the number of showings to allow you that time.

We can also delay closing until after the holiday season so you can enjoy the holidays without the stress of moving.
