Should I Buy or Sell First?

Hello, everyone! Welcome to my video real estate blog! I’ve been getting so many questions about what’s going on in our market that I wanted to answer all your questions through blog updates!

One question I’ve been asked a lot is ‘what is the best way to buy a home while selling?’ That’s a great question. Both the buying and selling process are stressful, so it’s good to have a plan.

If you are looking to move, put your current home on the market first. With today’s market conditions, we are seeing homes get multiple offers. Once you have bids, tell the buyers they must wait for you to find a home to purchase. This gives you more control and you aren’t rushed into making a decision. You can move straight from your current home to your new one!

If you have any more questions about how this process works, give me a call at 951.667.7615! I’d be more than happy to help!

  1. Linda,

Goof info! I think more sellers should get pre-approved BEFORE they list their home....especially with all the new guideline and regulation changes to confirm they can actually qualify.

Sadly, just because someone currently has a home loan doesn't mean they can qualify for a new one.

I hear of many sellers who list their home, accept an offer, then go out and start making offers themselves only to find out when it's late into escrow that they cannot qualify for the home they are buying.

And sellers makign contingent offers would really help their offer be more copetitive if they had a Preferred Buyer Advantage Loan Approval ==> http://homeloanartist.com/preferred-buyer-advantage/
